CANNABIS ICED TEA
Recipe: Cannabis-Infused Iced Tea
Ingredients:
- 4 cups water
- 4 tea bags (black tea or herbal tea of your choice)
- 1/4 cup honey or sweetener of your choice
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1/2 cup cannabis-infused coconut oil
Instructions:
- Bring the water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Allow to steep for 5-10 minutes, depending on the type of tea and the strength you prefer.
- Remove the tea bags and add honey or sweetener to taste. Stir to combine.
- Add the lemon juice and cannabis-infused coconut oil to the tea. Whisk together until well combined.
- Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, stirring occasionally to keep the oil from separating.
- Once the tea has cooled, pour it into a pitcher and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until completely chilled.
- Serve over ice and enjoy.
Note: To make cannabis-infused coconut oil, decarboxylate your cannabis (heating it to activate the psychoactive compounds) and then simmer it in coconut oil for several hours. Strain the mixture through a cheesecloth and use the infused oil in your recipe. The potency of your cannabis-infused coconut oil will depend on the amount and strength of the cannabis you use.
